Once a month, two volunteers go to pick up food at an outdoor site for Aunt Dot’s Place. Today, it was 10 degrees at 8:30 am, at the pickup. You know it is cold when you go to sign in for your agency and the pens won’t write.
It was worth it, as the volunteers picked up over four hundred pounds of food. They picked up carrots, sweet potatoes, onions, oranges, Cabot cheese, and lots of milk. There was even some dog food for our furry friends. +
