As we were sorting fresh vegetables from Hannaford and Price Chopper today, I saw bags and bags of canned goods that included beans, fruit cocktail, and peaches.
I found out that a single volunteer orders items from Hannaford most weeks, and donates them to Aunt Dot’s Place. Today she donated 140 pounds of food. She has been doing this since April!
To give once is wonderful, but to give over and over like that is amazing! As American poet James Broughton said, “Amazement awaits us at every corner.” Especially at Aunt Dot’s Place.
