Hannaford’s on Rt. 7, in Shelburne, had one of their dairy refrigerators shut down today. Bri Garcia, a manager at Hannaford called the Vermont Food Bank which called the food shelves connected to them, including Aunt Dot’s Place. One volunteer, Kitty Daly drove there and quickly filled up her car with cheese, milk, whipped cream, and juice. A small team met at Aunt Dot’s Place to quickly get the food weighed and refrigerated. She collected 252 pounds of food!
Also, Aunt Dot’s Place received $396 from Essex Discount Beverage through returned bottles. Thank you everyone who returns their bottles there for us.
