Got food? Want to help those who are food insecure in our community? There are two easy ways to help. Two wonderful local businesses are having food drives during the month of February.
Purple Sage, located on 21 Essex Way, offers so much in the way of personal care including hair styling, skin care, facials, massage, manicures, pedicures, reiki, and of course, the amazing Salt Cave. By hosting a food drive for Aunt Dot’s Place, they are showing their care for the community. Whether you are going for a regular appointment or just want to stop in for a Valentine’s gift idea, be sure to bring in some canned goods, pasta or other items. So far, a generous donor has given a huge box of organic baby food!
The other organization running a food drive in February is The Edge Sports and Fitness on 4 Gauthier Drive. Whether you are there for tennis, pickleball, basketball, group fitness, the mind/body studio, cycling or their amazing Genavix Nutrition program, be sure to show your care for the community by bringing in food for those in need.
