November 2022 Update

Dear Aunt Dot’s Place Volunteers,

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our volunteer appreciation event. It was nice to spend time with one another and get to know each other better. If you were not able to join us this year, we hope you’ll be able to make it next year!

Our annual meeting will take place at Aunt Dot’s Place on January 11, 2023, at 7 pm. Individuals who attend this meeting are eligible to vote for our Board of Director candidates. If you are not able to show up in person, you are not eligible to vote.

We know you’re already passionate about volunteering, so take the next step and consider joining our Board of Directors! If you are interested in applying, please email AuntDotsPlace@gmail.com with your name and a brief bio and share with us why you would like to serve. Please note that there will be 4 positions that will be voted on. Applications will be accepted until January 11, 2023, at 12 pm (EST). Board members meet in person on the first Wednesday of every month from 7 pm-8:30 pm.

Please be aware of the following news and updates.

Holiday Closures:  December 24, December 31

Shift Cancellations: We know life happens and understand if you’re not able to make your shift. Please be sure to cancel your shift as soon as possible, AND email AuntDotsPlace@gmail.com to let us know.
